Discover our journey, mission, and commitment to sharing authentic yoga knowledge with the world.
Empowering Wellness Through Knowledge
At ZenGFit Online, we believe that access to reliable, well-researched information is the first step toward holistic wellbeing. Our mission is to demystify yoga and wellness practices, making them accessible to everyone regardless of location, experience level, or background.
Founded in 2018, we've grown from a small passion project into one of the most trusted online resources for yoga knowledge in the United States. Unlike service-based platforms, we focus exclusively on education—sharing the wisdom of yoga without the commercial pressures of classes, products, or subscriptions.
We envision a world where everyone has access to the knowledge needed to make informed decisions about their health and wellness journey, creating communities of empowered individuals practicing self-care and mindfulness.
The principles that guide everything we do at ZenGFit Online
We prioritize accuracy and transparency in all our content, ensuring information is well-researched and properly cited.
Yoga is for every body. We create content that welcomes practitioners of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
Our sole focus is knowledge sharing. We don't sell services or products—just reliable, educational content.
From a simple idea to a trusted educational resource
ZenGFit Online was founded by Maya Rodriguez, a certified yoga instructor who noticed a gap in accessible, non-commercial yoga education. Starting as a simple blog, we published our first 10 articles on basic yoga principles.
We expanded our team to include three additional yoga experts and launched our community forum. Readership grew to 10,000 monthly visitors, and we published our first comprehensive guide to yoga styles.
During the global pandemic, we focused on creating resources for home practice and mental wellness. Our content library grew to over 500 articles, and we reached readers in all 50 U.S. states.
We established partnerships with yoga therapy associations and began collaborating with medical professionals to ensure our wellness content met the highest standards of accuracy and safety.
Launched our video library and interactive resources. Published over 300 new articles on specialized topics including prenatal yoga, yoga for seniors, and workplace wellness.
With over 1,200 articles, 50+ expert contributors, and a community of 50,000+ monthly readers, we continue our mission to make yoga knowledge accessible to all while maintaining our commitment to being a free, educational resource.
